Flute
Di Cao holds a flute performance master of music degree from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and a bachelor's degree from Manhattan School of Music. In 2020, she received a full prize scholarship from The University of North Texas for the DMA of flute performance. Right now, she is a Teaching Fellow at UNT and a member of the Center Woodwind Quintet.
She began studying flute at the age of 11. At the age of 14, she received the first prize in the Beijing National Musical Competition. In 2018, she attended the Shanghai Instrumental Annual Exhibition as a guest young artist performer. In 2021, she was invited as a guest performer to play in the Sino-German Music Bridge Chamber Music Concert in Shanghai. In 2021, she has been honored as an outstanding teacher at the 15th National talented Young Artist Instrumental Competition in Shanghai.
